This is our Regulatory Landscape newsletter for July 2024 with our monthly insights on the evolving market for Regulatory professionals.
For the month of June there were approximately 79 new Regulatory positions posted at smaller biotech and pharma companies in the US. This is down about 13% from May and down 10% from June 2023.
58% of these new positions in June were in Clinical Regulatory Strategy and 18% were in CMC Regulatory, 15% were in Advertising, Promotions & Labeling, and 8% in Regulatory Operations. 70% of these roles were at Director level and above. There were six new Regulatory VP/SVP positions posted in June.
27% of all new Regulatory roles in June were posted as Remote and 15% were Hybrid (remote/onsite). 24% of the June Regulatory positions were in California, 28% were in Massachusetts, and 28% were in the NJ/NY/PA area.
There were layoffs announced at nine biotech and pharma companies in June.
