For the month of April, there were 109 new Regulatory positions posted at smaller and mid-sized biopharma companies in the US. This is down 6% from March but up almost 40% from last April.
55% of these new positions were in Clinical Regulatory Strategy and 20% were in CMC Regulatory, 11% in Regulatory Operations, and 14% were in Advertising, Promotions & Labeling. Roughly 47% of all new April Regulatory roles were at Director level and above. There were 13 new Regulatory VP/SVP positions posted in April.
50% of the new Regulatory positions in April were listed as Onsite, 30% were posted as Remote and 20% were Hybrid (remote and onsite). 22% of the April Regulatory positions were in California, 37% were in Massachusetts, and 22% were in the NJ/NY/PA area.
There were layoffs announced at just three biopharma companies in April.
