For the month of September there were 74 new Regulatory positions posted at smaller and mid-sized biopharma companies in the US. This is down 9.7% from August and down 15% from last September.
61% of these new positions were in Clinical Regulatory Strategy and 19% were in CMC Regulatory, 12% were in Advertising, Promotions & Labeling, and 5% in Regulatory Operations. Roughly 50% of these roles were at Director level and above. There were nine new Regulatory VP/SVP positions posted in September.
45% of the new Regulatory positions in September were listed as Onsite, 27% were posted as Remote and 28% were Hybrid (remote/onsite). 22% of the September Regulatory positions were in California, 30% were in Massachusetts, and 32% were in the NJ/NY/PA area.
There were layoffs announced at 16 biopharma companies in September.
