For the month of August there were 82 new Regulatory positions posted at smaller and mid-sized biopharma companies in the US. This is up 6% from July but down 11% from last August.
56% of these new positions were in Clinical Regulatory Strategy and 15% were in CMC Regulatory, 16% were in Advertising, Promotions & Labeling, and 11% in Regulatory Operations. Roughly 41% of these roles were at Director level and above. There were 10 new Regulatory VP/SVP positions posted in August, the highest we have seen so far this year.
56% of the new Regulatory positions in August were listed as Onsite, 24% were posted as Remote and 20% were Hybrid (remote/onsite). 31% of the August Regulatory positions were in California, 17% were in Massachusetts, and 32% were in the NJ/NY/PA area.
There were layoffs announced at 26 biopharma companies in August.
