This biotech startup uses a proprietary platform to discover and develop potential therapies for a broad spectrum of rare diseases. They recently raised funds to advance their lead program into the clinic.
The Chief Medical Officer was seeking a Head of Regulatory Affairs who could establish the Regulatory function for the company and develop regulatory strategies for all aspects of their early-stage programs (including pre-clinical, clinical, and CMC). They needed someone who could file the company’s first IND and work directly with FDA to advance their pipeline.
Dennis Partners kicked off the search in mid-May with the CMO and Chief People Officer to understand the client’s criteria. We then developed a list of about 200 candidates who fit their qualifications. We recruited, screened, and presented multiple qualified candidates to our client within two weeks of starting the search.
The client interviewed all of the candidates by video, and then brought their top choice onsite for in-person interviews. The candidate met with the CEO as a final step in the interview process. The client presented a strong offer and the candidate accepted the position. They will be joining the company next month and the client is thrilled.
