This is our Regulatory Landscape newsletter for July 2022 with our monthly insights on the evolving market for regulatory professionals.
For the month of June, there were over 100 new Regulatory roles posted as smaller and mid-sized biotech and pharma companies. This is down a bit from May but in line with what we saw in earlier months this year.
As usual, the majority of these new roles were Clinical Regulatory/Generalist and Regulatory CMC positions. About half of these are at Director level or higher, although we saw more junior level roles posted in June than in the past. There were only seven new VP-level Regulatory roles last month, with over 30 VP RA roles still open across the country. Remote/Hybrid roles remained around 35% of all new roles posted.
There were layoffs at eight biotech companies in the month of June.

- Regulatory CMC Director or Sr. Director (CT or Remote)
- Senior Director, Head of Regulatory Affairs (Boston or Remote)
