Regulatory hiring remains very strong. For the month of February there were about 100 new Regulatory job postings at small and mid-sized biotech and pharma companies across the country. This is in addition to the 600+ Regulatory roles that are still open from prior months. About 40% of new postings are either Remote or Hybrid (remote/office) positions.
Regulatory hiring is happening across all levels from Manager up to SVP. There were seven new VP/SVP level Regulatory roles posted in February, which means there are still over 40 VP/SVP Regulatory positions open across the country. There is still a very large demand for Clinical Regulatory Strategy, CMC Regulatory, and Advertising, Promotions, and Labeling professionals.
Although there are still a huge number of open Regulatory positions around the country, we are filling positions faster than ever. This is due to the widespread adoption of video interviews (rather than in-person), along with a new willingness for companies to hire remote candidates who might live thousands of miles away. We have not had to relocate any candidates in the past two years!
