For the month of February, there were 95 new Regulatory positions posted at smaller and mid-sized biopharma companies in the US. This is down 17% from January but up 15% from last February.
48% of these new positions were in Clinical Regulatory Strategy and 26% were in CMC Regulatory, 11% in Regulatory Operations, and 14% were in Advertising, Promotions & Labeling. Roughly 67% of all new February Regulatory roles were at Director level and above. There were 11 new Regulatory VP/SVP positions posted in February.
48% of the new Regulatory positions in February were listed as Onsite, 25% were posted as Remote and 26% were Hybrid (remote and onsite). 33% of the February Regulatory positions were in California, 26% were in Massachusetts, and 25% were in the NJ/NY/PA area.
There were layoffs announced at eight biopharma companies in February.
