Regulatory Landscape Newsletter – May 2020

This is our Regulatory Landscape newsletter for May 2020 with our monthly insights on the evolving market for regulatory professionals.

Wow, it feels like April was a very long month this year! The good news is that companies are starting to re-evaluate their regulatory hiring needs and some are even moving forward with hiring again.  We are currently working on two active searches, and we have been seeing an increase in regulatory job postings over the past two weeks. Companies are still conducting interviews by video, and some are even extending job offers to candidates based solely on video interviews. It’s still not an ideal time if you are looking to make a career move, but it’s encouraging to see some movement in the market.

Here are the positions that we are currently working on for our clients:

  • VP or SVP Global Regulatory Affairs VP or SVP – Boston area
  • Regulatory Affairs Associate II – Princeton NJ

You can see these job postings on our site at https://dennispartners.com  and you can read our tips on enduring the COVID lockdown here: https://dennispartners.com/tips-trends-observations/our-tips-for-enduring-the-covid-lockdown/

Let me know if you would like to discuss your regulatory hiring needs, or if your company would like to explore some flexible workforce options like contract staffing.   It’s not unusual for companies to rely more on regulatory contractors or consultants during times of economic uncertainty.  Now may also be a good time to reevaluate what’s most important to you in your career.
