For the month of October, there were 75 new Regulatory jobs posted across the country at small and midsized bio/pharma companies. This is down 31% from last October, and very similar to the job numbers we saw in August and September of this year.
As usual, the vast majority of these positions (62%) are in Clinical Regulatory Strategy with 24% in CMC Regulatory. The others were in Advertising & Promotions, Labeling, and Regulatory Operations. There were nine new Vice President of Regulatory roles posted during the month. Of note: Only 30% of roles were listed in October were remote or hybrid.
We are still seeing a good number of new Regulatory roles being posted at bigger companies such as Sanofi and Takeda. There were layoffs at six biotech companies in the month of October.
