This is our Regulatory Landscape newsletter for March 2024 with our monthly insights on the evolving market for Regulatory professionals.
For the month of February there were approximately 85 new Regulatory positions posted at smaller biotech and pharma companies in the US. This is up about 6% from January but down about 7% from February 2023.
54% of these new positions in February were in Clinical Regulatory Strategy and 23% were in CMC Regulatory, 12% were in Advertising, Promotions & Labeling, and 12% in Regulatory Operations. More than 60% of these roles were at Director level and above. There were nine new Regulatory VP/SVP positions posted in February.
34% of all new Regulatory roles in February were posted as Remote and 16% were Hybrid (remote/onsite). 25% of the February Regulatory positions were in California and 46% were in Massachusetts.
There were layoffs announced at 16 biotech and pharma companies in February.
